One of Alizarin Crimson’s later albums, Bravery Test, was a huge departure from their strict prog-rock roots. From this point on, AC would focus more on synth piano riffs, meandering guitars and, frankly, overproduced drums. Like most people, I prefer the nutty time signatures and raw drum solos from albums like Happy Accidents and Slap The Devil. Plus, I don’t know what happened to Bobby Ross’s vocals when they recorded this, because they’re rotten.
